This skirt has me swooning for spring, but not worrying about the DC’s finicky weather.
Imagine yourself in a garden maze filled with flowering vines, topiaries, and fountains. Now imagine doing that in early spring without your legs freezing. It’s all possible with this skirt!
The secret is corduroy. This cotton corduroy skirt is the perfect pencil length to cover your knee caps, and the cotton lining is a nice touch. Made by Tocca (size 6)—which you can sometimes find on Shopbop and Gilt—this skirt was probably$150-$200 when new. Now, it’s a bargain-priced piece that retains maximum style.
This skirt is a perfect match for spring days when morning and evening commutes are chilly, but afternoons are warm. Headed to brunch? Add a sleeveless shell and a blazer and you’ll be ready for whatever mother nature throws at you. Maybe you’ll be lucky and she’ll throw you a secret garden (fountains optional). PURCHASE HERE
