Fashionista Friday: Vintage Summer Swimwear Chic

Summer is officially four days away and I’m SO ready to hit the pool! I cannot wait to whip out my beloved, vintage, DC Goodwill bathing suits for another stylish and exciting summer. I’m going to show them off at the pool, the beach… you name the place, I’ll rock them there!

And today’s Fashionista Friday knows exactly what I’m talking about.

Readers, meet Valerie!

Valerie is a Michigan Goodwill fashionista who is ready to soak up the sun in classic swimwear she found at her local Midwest Goodwill stores. She a vintage vixen I found while looking on Instagram and is an internationally published pin-up model and cover girl. She’s obsessed with glitter, hot rod driving, and left lane cruising.

As we see in one of her latest IG photos, Valerie found some vintage and vintage-inspired one-piece bathing suits at her local Goodwill. I don’t know about her store prices, but at DC Goodwills these would have been about $5 a piece! If it’s the same pricing, these are a total steal!

The striped one has me absolutely obsessed. That pattern is so timeless and classy, you can’t go wrong with pairing it with any color like a bright red or pink.

Sometimes I even wear vintage bathing suits from Goodwill as leotards since they are such statement pieces. I’d recommend Valerie do the same, especially with the red one. With black high-waist pants, that red would POP on a date night. Va va voom! Am I right?

Thanks Valerie for sharing your latest and greatest Goodwill swimwear on your page! You’re making me even more excited to wear my own this season!

Fashionistas, have you found any statement swim pieces at Goodwill? It’s so affordable!

Oh and don’t forget to add “#DCGoodwill” or “#MyGoodwillFind” to all your local finds, dear readers! I want to share the excitement of your amazing items.
