Fashionista Friday: Sunshine’s Abstract Print Mini Dress

Today’s Fashionista Friday brought sunshine into my life, during last week’s gloomy rain. After perusing the #MyGoodwillFind hashtag on Instagram. I spotted Sunshine (isn’t that a beautiful name?!) and one of her recent Goodwill finds: this abstract printed mini sleepless floral dress.

But before I get into the details, I want you to meet her!

Sunshine is a GA based Goodwill fashionista with a thirst for fashion and adventure. She’s a big traveler but also enjoys painting on ceramics and embarking in crafty and cute home projects .

With a gorgeous smile and open-toed trendy heels, Sunshine is sassing it up in her $6 Goodwill dress, scored at one of her Georgia locations. What a great deal, am I right? For $6 at another regular-priced store, you couldn’t even purchase a pair of socks, let alone an entire outfit basically (yes, I consider dresses an entire outfit).

Because the price of the dress is so low, it allowed Sunshine to spice it up and splurge a little bit more on shoes and accessories, making this outfit STILL a bargain.

What I love most about our Fashionista Friday’s dress, is the abstract monochrome art like print and how it decorates the dress in unexpected spots. The pattern isn’t on the entire dress, rather it splashes the fabric in compelling spots that keep the eye moving up and down the dress.

I also do love the way the skirt flares out a the bottom. Rather than the dress being cut straight without curves, the bell-like skirt gives Sunshine a more feminine and flirty shape.

Thanks, Sunshine for using #MyGoodwillFind with your cute summery mini dress! Keep up the smart shopping – I can’t wait to see more of your fab finds!
