Fashionista Friday: Lou’s Rockin’ White Jacket

Fashionistas, I am SO excited today! Not only is it Friday but we’re also featuring a male fashionisto for this week’s column!

When I spotted Lou using the #MyGoodwillFind hashtag on Instagram, I did a double-take. His look today is on point! Who knew we had such a talented and fashionable member of our Goodwill community!

As you can see, his creativity is off the charts. This Philly and DC entrepreneur is a photographer, visual genius, and local socialite. Lou is also a 80’s & 90’s music addict with an appreciation for all things Goodwill.

What I love most about Lou is his ability to style outfits no matter who the clothing is made for. For today’s ensemble, he’s rocking this fabulous white women’s blazer… but who would have known it was for women had he not said anything?!

His ensemble curation truly shows an item from Goodwill can be for everyone no matter who you are. If you like a piece, just try it and buy it! I know plenty of women who shop in the men’s section at Goodwill for unique oversized blazers and graphic tees.

\oops! i did it again/

With this snazzy chic look, Lou has convinced me of a couple of things:

1.) Look in the men’s section for more snazzy fashion gems
2.) I need a white blazer in my closet.

Lou, let’s go shopping sometime so you can help further open my eyes to fashion’s greatness and creativity! I’d love to get together sometime and tour some local Goodwills. Thanks for sharing your look with me!
