Fashionista Friday: Dee’s Office and Vintage Look

Dee, this week’s Fashionista Friday, is a local Goodwill supporter, fashion queen, and lover of all things vintage.

I actually first met her at one of the Modage Style bus tours. I remember her taking home some fabulous pieces such as a NWT Diane von Furstenberg designer dress!

As you can see in today’s feature, her overall Goodwill office and vintage look is off the chain. In this look she posted on Facebook, she’s taking unique cues from vintage retro style with bold boss lady shoulder pads, fun artistic patterns, and classic high waisted wool pants.

The trousers were purchased from the Dale City, VA Goodwill location. This spot is packed with a plethora of vintage gems. So it’s no surprise she scored these beauties there for under $10.

What I love most about pants like these is that they can match almost any type of top. The black high-waisted pants create the perfect canvas for patterns like the blouse Dee is showcasing today. Long black pants also elongate the leg, making you look fabulous and taller.

Thanks Dee for sharing this look with me on Facebook! I always love seeing you slay in your daily outfits.

Oh and don’t forget to add “#DCGoodwill” or “#MyGoodwillFind” to all your local finds, dear readers! I want to share the excitement of your amazing items.

My cousin Dee Ross has an eye for bargains and fashion. I love the way she matches vuntage pieces with current fashion trends and make them work together. I have learned much from her and her savvy styles. By the way, I too am a thrift shopper.
