Lately, I’ve been showcasing some Fashionista Fridays from across the country, but this week I want to bring us back to the DC area and showcase one of our very own Goodwill mavens: Dana!
Today’s Fashionista Friday is a local fashion lover who puts looks together that mix Goodwill and non-Goodwill items to create pretty snazzy outfits.
Dana is a Goodwill lover, momma, and lover of decor. She’s also great at mixing patterns, especially leopard print.
Speaking of leopard…..very recently, Dana found some gorgeous Betsey Johnson animal printed finds at her local DC Goodwill which she shared on her Instagram page. With brands like these, it’s rare to find even one item on the Goodwill racks, but two? Now, that’s talent.
I’m especially loving this tote! It will be great for carrying work items like a laptop and notebook.
But Dana isn’t only great at finding accessories. For the week of Valentine’s Day, she put together a series of love-day looks, comprised of various Goodwill stores!
For this particular look, Dana used a Gap jacket and New York & Company scarf (both from Goodwill), to dress up a what would be normal red and denim outfit. I love the Valentine’s Day yet spring vibes of this look! I can’t wait to see how she re-purposes these two Goodwill items in other looks this season.
Thanks Dana for sharing your finds with us on Instagram! I look forward to seeing more of your holiday-themed looks this upcoming season.
Want to be a Goodwill Fashionista? Send a photo of your latest Goodwill find to email@example.com. If we feature your look here, you’ll get a badge to share on your blog or site to show everyone that you’re a savvy Goodwill Fashionista! Oh and don’t forget to add “#DCGoodwill” or “#MyGoodwillFind” to all your local finds, dear readers! I want to share the excitement of your amazing items.
