Fashionista Friday: Cristy’s LOFT Grey Tweed

Fashionistas, did you know there are other Goodwill fashion experts and contributors like myself across the US?!

While perusing my Instagram feed, I stumbled across one of Kansas’s very own Goodwill fashion lovers, Cristy!

Cristy has been writing about fashion a bit for Kansas Goodwill stores, sharing her latest finds and giving away styling tips.

When Cristy is not shopping at Goodwill she’s caring for her 6 lovely little girls, participating in health activities, and is a gym rat.

Recently she embarked on a very impromptu trip to one of her local Goodwills after church and didn’t regret the excursion one bit. In fact, she picked up a cute gray LOFT tweed dress adorned with a little ruffle on the pocket.

LOFT is one of my favorite business-wear brands because the styles are typically on trend. They sport slightly flirty aspects (like the ruffle in this dress), while being acceptable at the office (like the fabric and length of this dress).

To top it off, a dress like Cristy’s might’ve originally cost $100, but at Goodwill, it was purchased for at least 80% off that price.

I know fall is just around the corner and you might be asking, “How can I wear a sleeveless dress in November?!” Well, I have some tips for you!

Since this dress is made of a thicker tweed material, you’re already set in the torso. But throw on a blazer, hose, and small chunky colorful heels from Goodwill and you’re all set! A sweater cardigan will absolutely look stylish as well – maybe a leopard or pinkish color?

Thanks Cristy for supporting Goodwill and sharing your fab finds with us!
