Fashionista Friday: Alex’s Goodwill Spring Decor Design Vision

Fashionistas, now that it’s finally spring, it’s time to do spring cleaning around your home to create a newer, more open space.

In my mind, there’s no better way to pump some creativity into the season than with light interior design and furniture acquirements or rearrangements.

Today’s Fashionista Friday has the same vision. She showed me this on her Instagram account using #MyGoodwillFind. Alex, a Nashville, Tennessee blogger with a love for home design and vintage wares, spotted some gorgeous furniture at her local Goodwill for under $15 a piece!

Curious to know what she found? Let’s dive in! I know you’ll be impressed.

On one of her most recent Goodwill excursions, Alex spotted these insanely beautiful, vintage, wooden chairs.

What a find! At vintage stores in DC these probably would have been at least $20 an item.

If I had found these (and I had space) I would have taken Alex’s advice and paired them with either a white table or embarked on a large DIY activity. I’m feeling sanding and painting all of them a new, fun color with chalk paint. Maybe teal?

It’s finds like these that make me excited about the month of spring and the possibilities that are to be taken advantage for home decor ideas and DIY projects.

Thanks Alex for sharing these finds with me on your page! I hope to find similar ones at the DC Goodwill stores and get myself going on a fun spring DIY project.
