Get Down Brown!

This week, we have 2 Fall-ish pieces in lovely shades of brown/olive.  I do realize it’s very, very hot, but Fall 2010 merchandise is hitting the stores.  We need to think ahead at least a little bit about our future wardrobe needs and wants. 

For instance, this Anna Sui jacket (which is TO DIE FOR and I’m really mad it doesn’t fit me) is a perfect little item to top off a fall outfit.  It would look great over jeans, a pencil skirt, or any pants, really, with a cami or tank underneath.  The embellishment is really pretty, and it is in the same style vein as the feminine/military trend I mentioned yesterday.  Size M (although I would say it runs a little small).

The second item is a sweet vintage purse in a rich espresso brown.  I found this purse at the Goodwill at 10 Glebe Road in Arlington, VA, and it was marked $3.99!  It’s a soft fabric, although I’m not sure what exactly it’s made of.  I don’t think it’s silk, but it could be viscose.  It has a gorgeous weave texture as you can see.  Very ladylike.
