The passion! The fashion! Save the date for our 2012 gala!

Mark your calendars, dear readers. We’re planning a very fashionable evening with a some international flavor, and we’d love to share it with you!

We’re setting the stage for La Passione di Milano (the Passion of Milan), our 2012 gala that will combine Italian art, contemporary dance, and The Fashion of Goodwill! Join us on September 27 as the Italian Embassy hosts us for all the fun.

We’ll send models down the runway in a live show packed with vintage and contemporary looks plucked from the racks at our local Goodwill stores (that’s right: your donations might make it on to the runway!). After the fashion show, you’ll be able to buy the items you just saw, along with a ton of other clothing and accessory items in what is set to be our biggest trunk show yet. Designer and stylist Tu-Anh will be coordinating the looks for the evening, and I’m looking forward to lending a helping hand.

Money raised from the event and trunk show will go toward a new retail store and donation center. We’ll be able to employ more people and raise more money to support our workforce development programs!
