There are many reasons I feel passionately about shopping at Goodwill. Not only do I get a huge bang for my buck, but the profits are passed forward to train people , help them find employment and to keep good jobs. 3 MILLION people, in fact! That’s really awesome! It makes me feel good to shop at Goodwill, knowing that my money isn’t just going to purchase goods, but to help the people of my community too! It’s like getting two things for the price of one!
Maybe you’ve never been a “Goodwill shopper.” Give it a try soon! You’ll have some fun and might even find a bargain, like my leopard skirt which is pictured! You can read the original Outfit 31 story about it here. So, be supportive of the vision of a better community through job training and placement, by providing Goodwill with your used items. EVERYTHING (even those old used undershirts and that pesky sock that’s now livin’ solo) is utilized!!! So never throw out anything. Donate EVERYTHING!!!
Enjoy today’s Outfit 31’s inspiration, using my fab leopard maxi skirt, purchased from, of course, Goodwill! I’ve styled it for you a few ways, to get your imaginations in motion! Oh! And I do luv, luv, luv my Gaithersburg, Maryland Goodwill! Just maybe we’ll run into each other! Happy shopping! Happy donating!! Happy heart!!!

Great pics and outfits! Love that tan bag in the one with the blue shirt! Was that a find as well? I would love to shop with you again sometime. It was so much fun at the Rockville store.
I’m ready to shop when you are!!! Just let me know when!

That would be fun! Maybe we could meet up in a couple of weeks since it is time for the spring things to keep coming out? Keep in touch, please. Take care, Meg
With a little bit of patience, you can get some great finds at Goodwill. I always get a great feeling when I find something there too. I love shopping there and at consignment shops too.
