Fashion Forward: Woman cries over beautiful room
Yes, this is a video of a woman popping some tears over a beautiful living room. But it’s for good reason, and we probably would have cried with her had we been in the audience at the Nate Berkus show.
Our friend Rashon Carraway, better known as Mr. Goodwill Hunting, made an appearance on the show to help one family revamp their family room into something chic and comfortable for the whole family. Here’s what he came up with:
It’s beautiful and functional! We can’t argue with Rashon’s eye for amazing furniture (it helps that he’s super creative and crafty). There’s some good advice hidden in here, especially if you take note of the items that Rashon had to work with. Not every piece you find while thrifting is going to be worth $17,000, but you can find those bargain-basement-priced items that are ready for a personal touch and not be afraid of sanding or painting or cutting off extra fabric. As for the valuable stuff, if you see it, grab it. Grab it fast.
What do you think of this Nate Berkus room? Rashon, can you please come to my house soon? XO, the Fashionista.

Tis true. $17,000 was a great find, but not typical. However, had it been a $17 find the possibilities are endless!
