Label Ho
Taking logo mania to the extreme.
I saw this picture and just had to share.
OMG! Louis Vuitton Car! by [the]tiMe thatYOU{danced}wiTH me featuring Louis Vuitton
I have to admit, it’s kind of cute. Not something that I would ever pay for, or take the time to do myself, but pink LV logos decorating the interior of a car is kind of fun (although very, very tacky).Â
Â
Logos are all well and good. I like Louis Vuitton as much as the next person. I have experienced the quality first hand and have to admit, their bags are truly durable, unlike many bags I have purchased (including Gucci). I’m not always crazy about their designs (think neon roses and logos), but I am kind of loyal to the brand now that I’ve had my Deauville for 5 years. I figured out the cost per wear, and because I’ve had it for 5 years, it’s down to about 2 cents per wear. I have definitely gotten my money’s worth, and it’s still as elegant as the day I bought it. You can’t say that about many trendy little handbags. Plus, it reminds me of J Lo.Â
Â
I love the bags, I like the shoes although I don’t own any, and I like the clothes. I’m not exactly in the market for LV clothing, though, if you know what I mean. But that’s about as far as my loyalty goes. What I mean is, I would never do this to my house:
And I would also never do this:
At first, I thought those tattoos were real, but it turns out they were temporary for a runway show. Okay, I understand. But this gentleman did not go the temporary route.
Here’s another car just for fun:

Mamma mia, girls, you look pretty ridiculous. But Louis Vuitton is not the only logo that has been used to vulgarize perfectly good luxury cars.  Check out the Burberry Maserati. I feel sorry for this car because it used to look good…
Oh, the humanity!Â
Dear readers, would you cover your car or your body in logos? Why do I think the answer will be NO?  And what is your feeling about logos in general? Too ostentatious? Tacky? Or do you like quality and interpret the logo as a representation of that quality? Personally, I don’t mind logos at all if they are subtle. And I have to admit, there is a part of me that wants the world to know that my bag was very expensive. I’m not sure what that says about me… shallow, materialistic, I’m not sure. But I paid a lot of money for the darn thing so forgive me. What about you?

Does it say something about me when I stopped everything I was doing because I saw the title “Label Ho?”
Please don’t judge me!
Loved the post!

Very funny, I’m the same way!
